Brett Beardmore

Born and raised on the Front Range of Northern Colorado, and originally trained as an Audio Engineer, Brett has spent the last few years of his life educating himself and exploring the notion of sustainable, regenerative, healthy, wholesome food.  Being plagued with the turmoil of a life long illness that abruptly ended a hopeful career, he was forced to examine the way in which food affects our heath and being, and therein the heavily veiled methods with which our food is currently produced. Food is life. And Brett understands that in order to produce good healthy food for everyone, you need everyone to see and understand what makes good, healthy food; not just for ones self, but for the land, animals, and future generations that provide us our bounty. And the best way to change things, is to be that change.

Forrest Carlson

Forrest has been gardening and farming for as long as he can remember. Starting from a few square meters in the family home's backyard, the plots have gotten bigger year after year. After founding Copia Permaculture LLC in 2018, he teamed up with long-time friend Brett Beardmore, and together they launched the new 10-acre regenerative agriculture project OwlTree Farm. Forrest has been involved with many farm and garden organizations over the years, including The Growing Project in Ft. Collins, a winery in Languedoc, France, and small farms in New Zealand. In addition to farming, his passions include backcountry skiing, mushroom hunting, bicycling, and  Slappin' Da Bass.
